The entire production and processing cycle of Eurovo is certified to ISO 9001. This certification attests to the ability of the company to organize itself and manage its own resources and its own production processes in such a way as to meet and satisfy the requirements of its own clients, as well as a commitment to the continuous improvement of such ability.


The BRC Technical Standard and Protocol for Companies Supplying Retail Branded Food Products is an inspection system used in the evaluation and control of the production of branded food. It was devised in the UK in 1998 by the British Retail Consortium with the aim of ensuring the health, safety and hygiene of food and farming products. The efficacy and exhaustiveness of the BRC standard have established it as a leading benchmark for organized retail operations throughout Europe. Nowadays its scope of application is no longer restricted to the producers of branded foods. Eurovo holds the highest level of BRC certification.


The IFS Food standard certifies that the company is committed to meeting the objectives and fulfilling the obligations of the law, protecting the interests of the consumer and offering “safe products that conform to contractual specifications and legal requirements”. Eurovo has obtained Higher level certification, which represents a best practice benchmark for the food industry.


Eurovo is certified by Italy’s Consortium for the Control of Organic Products, CCPB, which directly inspects egg farms and processing plants. Certification attests to the company’s compliance with the requirements of legislation (CE 834/2007) on organic egg farming.


Certification for products, processes and quality control systems from the producer through to the consumer. Agrovet imposes a range of quality criteria for products and processes with the aim of ensuring the required levels of safety in all phases of production.


H.A.C.C.P. (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is a hygiene control system designed to protect consumer health. The system works by enumerating every risk capable of compromising food quality during actual food production and in all the subsequent phases such as storage, transport and conservation, through to sale to the consumer.


Kosher certification attests to a product’s suitability for consumption by followers of Judaism and its preparation in accordance with the rules given in the Torah.


Halal certification is “obligatory for consumption by citizens of the Islamic faith and export to states with a majority of Muslim citizens” and attests to the observance of Halal requirements at every stage of production.


The KAT ("Kontrollierte Alternative Tierhaltungsformen”, or controlled alternative animal rearing) association imposes a stringent control system for the safety and traceability of eggs produced by alternative systems (barn, free range and organic). KAT certification attests to compliance with stringent animal hygiene and rearing requirements.


SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is not a code of conduct, methodology or certification process, but rather attests to a company's concern for its employees, the environment in which it operates, and the safety of its employees and facilities.
